GIVING BACK TO BUSINESS OWNERS
AND HELPING BUSINESS OWNERS RECOVER!

Over the next few months as the Queensland Business Community slowly attempts to cautiously get back to a new “post-Covid-19” world, local South East Businesswoman, Paula Brand is putting her energy into helping all business owners get “back on track.”

The well known “Small Business Expos” have been rebranded, and Paula has been giving away 120 Expo stand spaces at the upcoming Business Expos. “We are providing expo stands out of our own pockets for businesses who have been greatly impacted by COVID-19 and we are proud to help struggling businesses get up and go and grow again,” Paula said.

“The four Recovery Business and Jobs Expos will connect 700 exhibitors to 6000 local business professionals and three speaker programs including talks for business, women in business and jobs employability workshops.
This unprecedented display of generosity is for Paula, “a way of giving back” to the community that supported her company over the past 6 years as it has grown to become the premium business events and networking vehicle for business owners.

After six years of running small business expos in Queensland, a single mum Paula who has an 11-year-old daughter with autism, faced total business devastation when all events were cancelled when Covid 19 hit.

Paula’s extraordinarily successful Small Business Expos rely on face to face interactions and COVID-19 stopped the business in its tracks in March of this year.

Paula has continued to lobby local councils, state and federal members and a drive to help all businesses thrive.

Now is the time to reconnect and regenerate. The program of Expos is also now incorporating a jobs expo as well as business expo all under one roof, with business owners and community and business leaders.

“We have been in talks with all levels of government, who fully support and back the expo. Sixty stakeholders are coming together to do this, and we will be the biggest business collaboration ever,” Paula said.

“These include small and medium-sized business owners, chambers of commerce, as well as local, federal and state government members all cooperating to help deliver positive economic and employment outcomes. With 93% of business in Australia categorised as small, it is time to get back to basics and connect and grow.

The Business and Jobs expo events in South East Queensland will be:
Gold Coast – 15 October, Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium
Moreton Bay Region – 29 October, The Hope Centre, Rothwell
Brisbane – 11 November, Hibiscus Sports Centre, Upper Mt Gravatt
Redlands Coast – 19 November, The Alexandra Hills Hotel and Conference Centre, Alexandra Hills.
