After taking the Gold Coast and Logan regions by storm over the past three years, the 2018 Brisbane Small Business Expo is showcasing in Brisbane, for the first time, on the Friday, 11th May at Hibiscus Sports Complex.
In a one day only event, over 300 businesses across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Logan will showcase their products, services and create solid business leads.
One-third of small businesses in Queensland don’t operate from a shopfront, making the 2018 Brisbane Small Business Expo vital for home-based, micro, mobile and online businesses owners looking to promote their business and network with likeminded owners.
Proudly sponsored by principal partner Bartercard, the event will see some of Australia’s leading business experts share their stories of success with event goers including Phillip Di Bella from Di Bella Coffee and Glen Richards from Network Ten’s popular show, Shark Tank.
Small Business Expo 2018 event organiser Paula Brand said the expo is a collaborative B2B marketplace that will generate $2 million in solid sales leads for small business owners.
“Small businesses attending the workshops will also learn the latest business tips and industry insight to really bolster their business,” said Ms Brand.
“The day also provides people with the opportunity to come together and network in a relaxed manner so there will be food trucks, live music and chill out zones for all to enjoy.
“Our events are known to be a celebration of business and this year will be no different as we unite to acknowledge all the hard work that is done on a daily basis.”
The expo provides one of Australia’s most unique marketplaces for small business, connecting business owners with potential customers and providing them with information and informative presentations relevant to running and sustaining a successful company.
Acknowledging the important role of technology in small business, this years’ event will include a Technology Hub showcasing the very latest in technologies, software and hardware available.
